Email Accounts In Outlook 2016

Step 1
Open Outlook 2016 and select 'File' in the top left corner.

Step 2
Next, click on the 'Account Settings' button, clicking the 'Account Settings' drop down after.

Step 3
On the 'Account Settings' pop-up, click on 'New'.

Step 4
Ignore all the boxes on this part, you will want to click on 'Manual setup or additional server types' at the bottom, clicking 'Next' after that to proceed to the next step.

Step 5
On the 'Choose Service' screen, click 'POP or IMAP' and then click 'Next'.

Step 6
This step is where you will need to fill in the account information that would have been provided to you by our support team. If you do not have this account information, please call us on 01622 200045. When all this information has been entered, click on the 'More Settings...' box.

Step 7
You will get another pop-up, here you will need to click on the 'Outgoing Server' tab, and then check the first and second checkbox. Click 'Ok' when that has been done.

Step 8
You will now be back to the previous screen where you entered your account settings. Click on 'Next' to finish the setup. The account will then test, if it has all green ticks then it has been set up. If it fails then please double check everything has been entered correctly.
